Methyl Iso Butyl Ketone
Methyl Iso Butyl Ketone
MIBK is one of the most often used aliphatic ketones, used in paints, protective coatings, and as an intermediary in the manufacturing of different polymers and resins. MIK is a solvent used in vinyl, epoxy, acrylic, natural resins, nitrocellulose, paints, varnishes, lacquers, protective coatings, rare metal extraction, and dyes. It is also employed as a rubbing alcohol denaturant, a synthetic flavouring adjuvant, and a fruit flavouring agent.
